Separate originals and previews
Every upload is stored twice: the untouched original, and an optimised preview for fast browsing. Clients only ever see the preview.
Automatic Google Drive backup
Originals and previews are copied to Google Drive in organised folders by photographer, customer and event. Drive file IDs are stored with each photo, so selections stay linked to the right original even if a file is renamed.
Access control
Galleries use random links, access codes and rate limits, so a gallery cannot be guessed or scraped.
